The annual BIO International Convention, a four-day event is expected to draw over 20,000 attendees and is organized by the Biotechnology Industry Organization.

MediQuest's presentation will focus on the Company's proprietary drug delivery system that delivers therapies for unmet patient needs. MediQuest will also discuss the recent completion of Phase III clinical studies for its lead product MQX-503 - a topical formulation designed to treat Raynaud's Disease.

"More than 2 million Americans diagnosed with Raynaud's Disease are seeking treatment," Dr. Fredrick Dechow, CEO and president said. "If approved, MQX-503 will be the first drug on the market specifically designed to prevent and treat their symptoms and provide clinicians with the best treatment alternative for their patients."

Last November, at the annual American College of Rheumatology conference in Washington, D.C., MediQuest announced its Phase IIIa clinical trial results for MQX-503. The study concluded that MQX-503:

  • Rapidly increases blood flow;
  • Is well tolerated in patients with Raynaud's Disease with minimal to no side effects; and
  • May have clinical benefits in patients suffering from Raynaud's Disease.

In addition to MQX-503, MediQuest's ongoing developmental efforts have generated a robust pipeline that includes three drug candidates in clinical trials, one at the pre-clinical stage and others at the research stage. The company develops first- and best-in-class topical therapies to treat patients suffering from inflammatory and infectious diseases.
