MediQuest Therapeutics Invited to Present at Invest Northwest Conference

(Bothell, WA - March 19) MediQuest Therapeutics, Inc., a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on developing therapies for inflammatory/ infectious diseases, today announced that its President and CEO Dr. Frederick Dechow has been invited to present during this year's Invest Northwest conference.

Invest Northwest is the Pacific Northwest's premier life science investor and CEO forum and MediQuest's Company profile will be highlighted as one of the 50 most promising companies from this region. Dr. Dechow's presentation begins at 11:35 a.m. on March 20.

"MediQuest's participation in Invest Northwest provides us with an opportunity to showcase the strength of our Company to key players in the region's investment community," Dechow said. "Being identified as a presenting Company is a significant step for MediQuest as we continue to develop our pipeline therapies and bring our products to market."

MediQuest's presentation will focus on the Company's proprietary drug delivery system that develops new therapeutic options for unmet patient needs. MediQuest also will discuss the recent completion of Phase III clinical studies for its lead product MQX-503, a topical formulation designed to treat Raynaud's Disease.

"Vascana offers a viable treatment option for the more than 2 million Americans diagnosed and seeking treatment for Raynaud's Disease," Dechow said.

Last November, at the annual American College of Rheumatology conference in Washington, D.C., MediQuest announced its Phase IIIa clinical trial results for MQX-503. The study concluded that MQX-503:

  • Rapidly increases blood flow;
  • Is well tolerated in patients with Raynaud's Disease with minimal to no side effects; and
  • May have clinical benefits in patients suffering from Raynaud's Disease.

In addition to MQX-503, MediQuest's ongoing developmental efforts have generated a robust pipeline that includes three drug candidates in clinical trials, one at the pre-clinical stage and others at the research stage. The company develops first- and best-in-class topical therapies to treat patients suffering from inflammatory and infectious diseases.
