MediQuest Therapeutics Purchases Assets of IntegriDerm
(Seattle, WA - February 9, 2004) MediQuest Therapeutics, Inc. announced today that it has purchased the assets of IntegriDerm, Inc., an early-stage skin-care products company located in Birmingham, Alabama. In addition, Dr. Thomas P. Dooley will be joining MediQuest as Chief Scientific Officer. The transaction exchanged MediQuest stock for the IntegriDerm intellectual property and physical assets.

Frederick J. Dechow, MediQuest's President and CEO, said, "This is an important augmentation of MediQuest's portfolio of dermal products and a key advance in our becoming the premier biotechnology company addressing dermal diseases and conditions with novel agents. Dr. Dooley brings to MediQuest his solid industry experience and his recognized leadership in dermal product discovery and development. He will have an important role in helping direct our product development efforts. We are fortunate to have Tom join our management team."
