Tyler Ellison Joins MediQuest Therapeutics
(Seattle, WA - 5 February 2003) MediQuest Therapeutics, Inc., a Seattle biopharmaceutical company, announced that T. Tyler Ellison, President of Pacific Marketing Consultants, LLC, has joined the company as Vice President, Business Development.
"With his addition to the company, Tyler brings valuable marketing and business development skills and experience," said Frederick J. Dechow, Ph.D., President and CEO of MediQuest. "Tyler's 30 years of marketing experience in the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industry will be an asset as the company moves forward with developing new compounds and partnering with other companies in the biopharmaceutical industry. His experience will also expand the commercialization effort for priority compounds that the company has already targeted for development."
Before forming Pacific Marketing Consultants, Mr. Ellison served as head of Marketing Research at Immunex, Corp. of Seattle. As a Director, he was responsible for several functions, including marketing research, business forecasting, and competitive intelligence. After the Amgen acquisition of Immunex, Mr. Ellison served as Director of Business Analysis and Information at Amgen.

Mr. Ellison currently serves as President of Pacific Marketing Consultants. He received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Chaminade University, and his Bachelor's of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Hawaii. Mr. Ellison has also completed post-graduate work at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth University, and at the Kenan-Flagler School of Business at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
